@spongebobSQ0126 You've got a hope if you're only just beginning lessons! No-one has ever got to half of her level of talent!!

Eleanor Powell is still fantastic queen of tap. In the "Lucy James"-Entrance Scene has another great talent a small part: Douglas McPhail who had his biggest appearance in Judy Garlands/Mickey Rooney's "Babes in arms" and in "Little Nellie Kelly". Another uncredited part he had in 1939 in Eleanor Powell's "Honolulu" as singer/chorus and in "Broadway Melody of 1940".

This display of athleticism, while looking so feminine, & at least appearing to have so much fun (I'm positive there was effort, but she makes it look so easy!) ...I'm all admiration :)

I love how she using her ballet training in this routine.

Any movie that starts off with Eleanor Powell coming into town with a suitcase in her hand, will definitely chase the blues away!
