Interview with Mary Wilson

As part of our commemoration of Black History Month, the US Embassy hosted Mary Wilson in Kyiv. Mary Wilson performed a concert on February 4, at The Concert Hall of the Tchaikovsky Music Academy and she opened the free, and open to the public, museum exhibit The Story of the Supremes at Ukrainsky Dim (open daily from 11 AM -- 7PM from February 4 -- 14). The exhibit features 18 of the The Supremes' renowned fashion defining dresses and gives a photographic tour of the 1960s in America, highlighting The Supremes and the civil rights movement, and demonstrating how music can bring about social change.
