@WaterClips thanks for replying, I really want this unit, but for now it is out my price range :(

@JSplintable Charcoal filter should not add contaminants. If it does, then you have bad quality charcoal and don't use it. It does improve the taste of the water. I made some water without the charcoal and it was not very good. With the charcoal it is the best tasting water I ever had.

@WaterClips Thank you for the reply. I can think of some reasons why water distiller condensing coils are made of stainless steel (efficiency of heat conduction and ease of cleaning, and to a smaller extent fragility of components). I still wish someone would manufacture one made of glass.
Nonetheless, thank you for making an excellent product. These should be finding their way into more and more homes.

@334Stitch We highly recommend using a distiller cleaner on a regular basis to prevent your distiller from clogging like Still Clean, Lumen Cleaner, or Kleen Wise. All of these products are all just Sulfamic Acid which dissolves any mineral deposits in your distiller. we have it available at freshwatersystemsdotcom
I dont see why this is worth 600 U.S dollars , the tech is very simple and this could be much cheeper

@imsolive89 This is one of the few all Stainless Steel Countertop Water Distillers that are made in the United States. We have also bundled this distiller with a stainless steel water bottle, Still Clean, Extra Post filters and free shipping. Other countertop units are made of plastic that our customer do not prefer. Thank you for your comment.

I wish the condensation tubes were made of glass instead of stainless steel. Also, why would distilled water need to pass through a charcoal filter? Seems like that would reintroduce contaminants potentially from the charcoal and the paper of the filter.

@JSplintable Historically, condensing coils have always been made of stainless steel and I'm not really sure about making them from glass. The postfilter is designed to polish the water of any tastes or odors from the distillation process, and use of the postfilter is completely optional.

I would like to see the boiling chamber after many months of use. I have the side-by-side unit shown in the quick photo at beginning of vid, and the boiling pot is permanently coated with a layer of cement-like material that cannot be removed. but it works fine. i wonder if the boiling coil on this unit gets covered like that.also seems impossible to clean the bottom of the boiling chamber, since the coil blocks it. someone please post pics of a used unit, not a sparkling new one like this.
