sorry to tell all of you onlive fans but the beta is now closed and the service failed, was planned to release in winter of 2009 but it did not work so they couldent ship it. they should announce the cancling of onlive soon, anyway PC owns In Gaming

its not a new "video game system"...just a new video game service...that can stream console and pc games to your pc or tv set...

To play with your TV they give you what is called a "Micro Console". However to play through your computer you only need the service installed.

Oh I never said the gameplay looked better, what I'm saying is look at mp3 players. Most songs are 128kbps, so its worse then a cd, but the connivence factor was enough that it became the new norm. While PC gaming will never die, the majority will adopt this instead.

Oh I already know that... PS3 (Nvidia) and Xbox 360 (ATI) run outdated graphic GPU's from computer manufacturers. They are computers, only they are outdated now, and onlive is a PC you rent through the internet..

@collegekid491 First of all it runs ok good.=, but compare Graphics and Framerate with a High-end PC and it goes down. the graphics are on about low and medium mixed. for proof go to gamestop and look at the system wars and you see PC Beats the PS3,Xbox 360 and onlive

LOL, man you are a moron, have you forgot technology continues to advance? Heck... look at mp3 players, cell phones, computers in general. Completely unpractical technology for the time that has now become the very hub of our society. If its remotely feasible now, in a few years, it will become better then the alternative
