No one was ever helped in these state run mental institutions. Patients were used as guinea pigs.

how do you get into there?

In the basement there is a steam tunnel that lead to the power station that was up towards MI ave......now that is a scary place.
It was only later we found out that wandering through there you are flirting with tuberculosis.

why is the place so dirty and so much broken glass and no walls and machines thrown arround and why were medical records left behind...it just looks like people walked out and topok nothing out of there..is that what happened ?

My great aunt Stephanie was In the Eloise INsane Asylum for years. I believe from 1928 till they shut it down from there i dont know where she went. where did they take all the patients when they closed eloise down?
