From the 1975 'Down Beat' poll-winners' show, here's a performance of 'Work Song, dedicated to the great Cannonball Adderley, who passed away that year.

On stage:
Sonny Rollins - tenor saxophone
Rahsaan Roland Kirk - tenor saxophone
Freddie Hubbard - trumpet
Bill Watrous - trombone
Hubert Laws - flute
McCoy Tyner - piano
George Benson - guitar
Stanley Clarke - bass
Lenny White - drums
Airto Moreira - percussion

  • Sonny is great...and then you hear Rahsaan...I seen him play after his stroke...one hand and he was better than most with both hands...he was a gift from God man.

  • @Superstud079 I don't know Rashaan very well, but on this video, Sonny Rollins is way better than him (actually he's kinda the only one playing a solo so we can't really judge)
