Temptress Of A Thousand Faces - Part 1.

Temptress Of A Thousand Faces (1968) is a Hong Kong crime thriller involving the TOATF (it is only four characters in Mandarin), a female master criminal who uses Mission Impossible-style mask disguises to terrorise the city with her daring robberies, backed up by her sinister criminal organisation. Spearheading the hunt for this villain is policewoman Ji Ying and her boyfriend, news-photographer Yuk Dat.

In Part 1 the TOATF captures Ji Ying and taunts her before stealing her identity. Disgised as Ji Ying, the TOATF steals a load of jewellery that the policewoman was supposed to be guarding. The TOATF then releases Ji Ying so that she can be arrested for the crime. While Ji Ying is in custody, Yuk Dat carries out another jewel heist, implicating the TOATF, leading to Ji Ying's release.

No sooner is Ji Ying once again at liberty, than the TOATF's goons recapture her, and the TOATF takes her place at a romantic, candle-lit dinner with Yuk Dat. The boyfriend's flat has been fitted with hidden cameras, and Ji Ying is forced to watch as her evil twin seduces Yuk Dat and the couple adjourn to the bedroom...
