How to jailbreak 3.1 and 3.1.1 on any device (except ipod touch 3g) without 1600 ERROR!

In this video im gonna show you guys how to jaibrake the iphone 2g, 3g, 3gs, ipod touch 1g, and 2g for 3.1.1 and 3.1 using pwnagetool. this does not work for the new ipod touch 3g.

no, thers another download for that. type in google pwnage tool 3.1.4 download, and that jailbrakes 3.1.2

wait when you say you must be jailbroken before you do this...do you mean that I could be jailbroken before i updated? becasue i WAS jailbroken before and then i updated to 3.1 by accident, thus making my 3gs un-jailbroken. can i still do this?

No you can not, that is the problem, you have to already be jailbroken on 3.0, and THEN update to 3.1 with the custome firmware. If you upgrade to 3.1, i dont think there is a way to downgrade, but that was your problem

can u make a video that can help me i have a 3gs 3.1.2 and my modem firmware is 05.11.07 can u help me downgrade to anything less or help me unlock it the way i am now

You can downgrade if you installed the official firmware. All you have to do is plug in your device shift and click restore and click on the 3.0 frimware, rejailbreak it, and then do the new process all over.
