Really good presentation, Richard. I've been doing this for a couple of days now and it's actually have made my dangerously high stress niveau drop to a tolerable level.
Thank you so much!

@plutoniumseller Yeah you are absolutely right...thanks a lot Richard!
But what if you really did focus on one thing and before you know it, you're screwed with something else? (ex. You really did focus on your work so much that before you know it, your girlfriend/wife is already getting anxious because you don't give her the attention she wants/needs. Or for example, you're cooking something and studying at the same time, then you get so focused on studying that before you know it, your food is already overcooked.)

@dhathor You plan the time so you can get everything done. Say 50 minutes only study, then 30 mins to make/eat food, then 50 minutes study again. Or whatever. The key is one thing at once to do it well. The time periods can be short, but have to be defined. Same with work, define a certain amount of hours/time as work which gets 100% of you and no one should disturb you. Then when you finish your girl gets you 100% . If she isn't happy with that you might need to have a chat!

But what if diffirent affairs comes to you during your work when you have no time to take that blank piece of paper and must think what to do next "on the fly". That's where "I have no time!" comes from. :)

@suineg1 The trick here is to block off time. Set a timer for 50 minutes and make sure everyone knows you aren't to be disturbed during that time. Don't check email, close Facebook and Youtube and don't answer your phone, only do the one task you need to get done. Nothing so urgent will happen that it can't wait till the 50 minutes are up. The magic is that if you do this 2 or 3 times a day you'll get so much more done in those 2/3 hours than you normally would in an 8 hour day!

Thanks for the perspective.. How can I focus harder on 1 thing.. it's the most difficult thing to do for me. I will try my best!

@kawaiifull It's just practice and being conscious of when your mind begins to ..... oh yeah, I forget to do that ... errr, sorry... oh yeah, be really conscious of when your mind begins to drift.
The "Flower Technique" is a great way to start. Grab a flower (roses are great), sit in a quiet room and just spend one minute looking at the flower. If a thought comes into your mind, throw it out. Just focus on the flower, see the grain in the petals, every detail. = super concentration!
