You can just run these 1.6v rechargables and keep the same weight. Im running them in my car with all stock and it will run for over an hour with no reduction in performance. The 4 pack with charger was $8 at Big Lots and $5 for just 4 batteries. You gotta get the charger cause regular charger wont charge them.

Get a losi Micro lipo or NIMH pack.Cause lamme tell yeah,that battery is alittle to big for that sucker. Ok more then alittle. lol.
then for the heat to stop,yeah heatsink.
