  • @MrRodrigold You'll be surprise of how much love we have for plumerias. It is usually overlooked by areas of warm temperature, where plummmies can be grown so easily. but here in the the North Bay, it is not that easy to grow. So I can't wait to see yours. Share a video if you can. I'd love to see them.

  • i think they grow best with fertilizer high in phosphorus like 10-50-10.

i love plamerias... got my cuttings from L.A.

  • @cut3anjo there are so many businesses in sd area. my plant is going to give me lots of blooms again. checking on the buddings and i'm super excited. hey, let me know how yours go. i would to see your flowers.

  • happy new year to you too. haha...you don't need to go to the beach for sand. they do sell them at any nursery store. they should not cost you more than $5. pretty affordable. oh and I forgot one thing. you know those potting mix for the regular flowers? i mean, those typical cheap one? yeah, you might to use that for like 90% and 10% of the sand. and then at orchard supply, they there nitrogen mix you can buy. i'm not sure of the number, but you can find it on google. good luck.

  • oh thank you silliepooh for the tips. I will do that. I guess I have to wait till summer when I go to the beach for the sand. hehehee!!! Unless it is sold at the store. I will look out for sand from now on. Thanks and Happy New Year to you my dear silliepooh. ;))))))))))

  • good luck on the plant. you would have to repot it in order to have flowers. they are very vulnerable, so you need to mix some sand into the potting. sand helps speed up the growth due to the heat intake.

  • Thank you for your response to my old account sillypooh. I found one at Home Depot about 2 months ago....not flowering yet though. Hopefully soon. I can't wait to see and smell the first flower. hehehehe!! . ;)))))))
