Tom Scholz himself thought it was Brad Delp singing this when he first heard it on his small PC speakers. When he heard it amplified, he couldn't believe it wasnt Brad. Decarlo should be singing full time most, if not all of Brad Delp's songs.

Nah-Michael Sweet is a much better singer. I can hear this guys voice coming out his nasal passage and I personally don't like that (I can't imagine why anyone would like that). There's no pop. He's a great cover band singer and that is all.
