@timbrandt11 The people praying in that heart patient study weren't scientists, they were believers who were confident that their prayers would have an effect. They didn't.

@timbrandt11 If you keep track of all of your prayers, and exactly what you pray for, and if you pray only for things that can be objectively measured in a way that ensures that the results can only be attributed to prayer, you will see that those prayers themselves aren't producing results.
Those people praying for patients believed in prayer, and wanted to get results. They were praying for good things to happen, in all sincerity, and as with the other studies, the results surprised them.

Prayer works for me, but I think that's only because I mean it, and it's not for show, like the study you're talkin about.
Matthew 6:5 talks more about it. Check it out! I hope it makes more sense to you than I do :-)

@timbrandt11 If a God answers prayers in real ways in the real world, then we can see the effects. Google
heart patient prayer study
and see that when we carefully examine the evidence of whether prayer works or not, we keep seeing that prayer has no effect at all.
Just the results you'd expect if there were no such thing as a god.

What if you lost your vision, and touch? I suppose you wouldn't believe in anything around you either, eh? It's so sad that all you believe in is what you can see with your earthly eyes.
And besides..... God is way too big to prove. Way WAY too big to explain. Way too big to tame. To contain. To categorize. To understand, etc.
But not too big to know. And I'm overjoyed just to have the privilege to talk about Him.

@timbrandt11 said "There's a whole war going on all around you that Satan is happy you don't know about. "
There is absolutely no empirical (real) evidence that there is any such thing. Satan's as fictional as the unicorns, witches, and fire breathing dragons also in the Bible.

@ldsanmocte "It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it." From a letter Einstein wrote 24 March 1954.included in Albert Einstein: The Human Side, Princeton University Press

So you only believe in what you can see? That's too bad, bro (sis?). There's a whole war going on all around you that Satan is happy you don't know about. Until you start seeking God's absolute Truth for what it is, Satan will be doin his stupid little victory dance. Please sir (ma'am?), be a Truth-seeker.

this is misleading... very misleading...
einstein was agnostic.. and have u seen einstein argue with his philosophy professor at this age?
you do realize that einstein didnt believe in god.
What he saw as a religion was in fact, the wonderfull structure of the world.(i hope i said it right, hence i am a non englisher)
So, in my persoanl opinion, is kinda silly to have a campaign like this where the ad is presented by a non-believer

Many people thought that einstein is an atheist or a non believer, but the truth is he is a jew and he personally confirm on one of the video I saw that he does believe in god. try to look for the video.
