  • BIASED much???

  • Further to the comment before...

No one is saying that GM trucks are better than Ford.

What I am saying though is that based on the logic that more wheels turning at the same rate is better for a truck than less wheels turning at the same rate.... well obviously then.. the GM trucks have an advantage over their competition.

Man can build computers, spaceships, skyscrapers.. so many amazing things.

why is ANYONE confused or even arguing about this video?

G80 works... now go watch porn

  • GM does not build monster trucks or do they make ANY claims that there trucks are to be marketed as serious off road trucks. The g80 DOES NOT explode for everyday drivers like you or me OR guys doing what is done in this video.

The fact is this... the G80 diff just provides an extra wheel to drive.

so in a 2WD truck... it makes the truck drive with 2 wheels instead of 1

in a 4x4 it makes the truck drive with 3 wheels instead of 2

GM offers a locking diff on EVERY truck they make = win

  • What idiot owns a 4x4 and has open diffs front and rear? oh yeah, the guy driving this Ford.

  • grenade 80- they tend to explode

  • Hey guys, the "4wd" ford has stainless rocker panels whereas the "2wd" ford does not. There are 2 different fords in this video and all the trucks hit the ditch at about the same speed and all come to a stop. The first ford is obviously in 2wd and the second is clearly in 4. but they are different trucks, they should have just grabbed ones with different paint.

  • well im a chevy guy all the way but the reason the others did not make it is because they were going really really slow.

  • @77chevk1500 I had a 2wd Ford that would have done just fine in the test.

So you are saying the announcer lying about the Ford being 2wd is justified?

Why couldn't he have just said it was a 4wd in 2wd?

And I'm not the only one that's commented on that. So why single me out?

  • @WKHalford No shit sherlock and thank you captain obvious they couldnt use an actual 2wd doesnt sit high enough they would rip the front bumper right off.........some people should just not comment on stuff like this and plus seeing as the truck was 4wd not an actual 2wd it would have put the truck at an advantage rather than a disadvantage in this test....... *FACE PALM*

  • @racehonda9 Thanks for telling the truth about the G80. GM will never tell the whole truth about how the torque spike (shock load) from when the G80 locks can cause it to shatter, especially in the half- ton 8.5"/8.6" 10 bolt rear. Even in the 3/4 and 1 tone rears, the G80 can shatter.
