They Ruined My Hair!! Blonde Hair Turned Orange!

So I have a "little" bit to say about my bad experience at the hair salon... I tried to make it as interesting as possible... I apologize for the length... I just really had to express my frustrations! I was on the verge of tears while at the salon... soo everything said in this video is real and non exagerated.

To sum up this experience... My hair was a light blonde... and when i left ended up being ashy... with orange roots... see video.

I am a hairstylist and I'm pretty disgusted in the service they gave you. A root touch up is ONLY your roots, which has no reason to turn orange because it's on VIRGIN hair and lifts fast.There's no synthetic color or dyes, which is usually the cause of stubborn hair staying orange(unless bleach hasn't been on enough time to get through the natural remaining pigment in your hair.)

I paint the blonde on the regrowth, but if anything just feather through the end to brighten the ends up a little.

omg i can totally relate! i went in for my first (and last) root touch up at a salon cuz i was friends with the owners daughter.took 4 hours, my hair turned an orangey blondish color and the chemicals felt like my scalp was on fire!then they put me under this dryer u'd see in a 1950's tv show...i looked like scary spice when i got "done".now i have to pay extra to go to another salon to have fixed what they fucked up,like my extensions they ruined!

150 bucks sounds like a total rip. but a root job for a one all over base colour and a root job with foils is diff. having foils does cost more and having a blow dry is another service on top. sometimes they can tell if the customer does not want to pay for a blow dry.. 4 hours in a salon is wayyy too long, not even a chemical straightening should take that long (2.5 to 3 hours). they should of told you how much before they started and that would of saved allot of trouble. yes im a hairdresser

Don't dye your hair at all unless you can afford to maintain it regularly. Plus some are severly damaging - so only use products like Natural Instincts. No ammonia but natural looking color.

Hey I had the same experience but they charged me $250 for just highlights on virgin hair and it was a shitty job!

I've had something like that happen. I went to the salon over the summer and they cut it wrong dyed it the wrong colour and over charged me. Never went back.
