Merely because pigs sometimes do the job that they are PAID to do does not excuse their felonies. We need cops, but they need to be held accountable for their crimes. Otherwise, pigs are nothing more than a gang of thugs like any other -- except that they have the power of the so-called justice system to abuse as a weapon. Over 400 Philly pigs have been convicted of felonies just since Mumia Abu-Jamal's 1981 arrest. However, they are only the scapegoats, as most crooked cops never get arrested.

As many videos graphically evidence, Philadelphia police officers deliberately provoke, enrage, and antagonize law abiding civilians in order to have an excuse to arrest, assault, and otherwise dominate them and employ torture toys (such as tasers and batons) against them. Judging by cops' aforementioned behavior and their ridiculously exaggerated physiques, cops seem to be more concerned about flexing their metaphorical, imagined, and literal muscles of power than about upholding any law.
