For those of you who are mentioning why kill him? They can't find out carcass information on him without killing him first off. And if the breeders were smart at the time and really think what he has is what the market will go for at some point, then they collected sperm from him so they can pass his genes on to other generations. Also, breeders can change carcass data faster than they can change traits like reproductive efficiency. So it is very likely to pass that on to his offspring.

Breeding one huge cow with another doesn't automatically mean that its offspring will be large. Apart from anything, the trait would only be desired to humans.v I hardly think the cows enjoy being that fucking huge.

Evolution works through desired genes being bred into the next generation, thus passing on that trait to the next generation as well.
