I put together all the pictures and video of the 2007 Soap Box Derby build we did with our Cub Scout Den. Just for fun to see the racer go from sketch to complete. Music is Pressing on by Relient K.

Good video, did he win his race?

Thanks, yes our team of boys swept 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with the blue #3. It was the fastest car there. The coolest thing happened in the finals when two boys from our Den were to race each other. The boys decided since they knew the car they built would win, that they both would drive 2 slower racers for the final race. Great show of sportsmanship from two 7 year old kids.

how did the steering wheel go on that? i understand the steering exept the wheel and how did you put the wheels on did you just screw them into the 2x4? so i was hoping that you could put up some plans for the steering or a video describing how you did it because it looks exellent!!!

when they are old you should bolt a motor on their, it would make a sweet gocart, you would need axles and sprockets but its all good

hi i was wondering if you could make a video explaining the steering system because im trying to get a steering system involving a steering wheel but im unable to find one and the system u have looks pretty good so if you could make a video about it it would really help me out and probably others thanks.
