Do you have a good place to start adding different colors? I am making several of the same hat for charity and I need the pompom to have all 3 of the colors in it. :)

Hi Kris, what a wonderful project. You can add a single color to each side of the maker for a divided in half two color pom-pom. For 3 colors, the easiest way to mix them evenly is to wind the three colors of yarn around the arms of the pom-pom maker together. Just pull up yarn of each color and wind them at the same time. Hope that makes sense.

So sorry to hear that. Do you mean that the pom-pom came apart? You need to tightly tie a separate piece of yarn in a strong knot around the pom pom before you remove it from the pom-pom maker.

We are truly sorry this isn't working out well. If you tie the yarn on one side then wrap the yarn around to the other side and tie again, then knot it that seems to work better. It has to tie down deep in the channel where you've cut the yarn.

Well, I'm so glad I watched the video! The package directions were sparse. I went about this all wrong, but now I understand. Awesome! I can't even explain how I did it at first, but let's just say there are all these little bits of yarn all over the table. Will toss them outside for the birds and start again. Thanks so much for a clear presentation.

Yes It came apart the little strands start falling out of the ball (pom pom) I did use yarn and tied It as tightest I can get It. Later I got to thinking, next I'll fairly pull the two ends just a bit not all the way not let the pom pom come off or out & Use use a strong Rayon-wrapped polyester extra strong thread. That should work huh ?

    Thank you for replying!!
