@fkooioppooujjjpok Are you fucking kidding me?
Do you have any clue what this piece was inspired by and what a horriffic event it was?
Do you realize that there was a WORLD WAR fought to stop the actions described here?
Without even going into the artistic and musical merit this piece has (of which it has multitudes), the importance this work has to world culture is immeasurable.
The lack of knowledge and appreciation people have today is truly appalling.

An imbecile who conspicuously lacks the imagination and musical sensibility to pose such a question should be summarily ignored and banished from civil society.

Dear god this paints an amazing image of war torn warsaw.

I can't honestly say I love this piece because it isn't a piece to love. It's a piece to show pain and suffering, which I think it does admirably. I am of Yiddish descent, so whenever I hear this piece, it makes me feel a little sick. However, I think everyone should listen to it, because as George Santayana said, those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. Music is a good way to remember because it reaches across all boundaries.
