  • She's learning Swedish, but what language does she speak? What language is her father speaking?

  • @SycamoreHill14

She speaks Swedish, but her dad (me) is trying to teach her his dialect from the south of Sweden.

  • she looks like an angel

  • Bara att låtsas att man spyr och gurglar gröt samtidigt så lyckas man med både skånska och danska ;)

  • This reminds me of a T-shirt that I bought in Malmö many years ago, where it was printed with simple translations from "Svenska" to "Skånska!" For example, "Hur mår du" becomes "Hourr måår duee" and "Hej" becomes "Haollåu" and so on! But every country has its regional dialects.

  • @tobbewilson från Skåne?! i've heard that everyone makes fun of skåne in Sweden ;)

  • Aj mina öron...

  • Her dad is teaching her Skånsk. Not learning her Skånsk. Byabychannel1's comment about Skånsk being a throat sickness is silly. Skåne was part of Denmark, and the other nordic countries were part of the Kalmar union. The Scaninavian languages in the written form are mutually intelligible. In the spoken form though Swedes and Norwegians can understand each other, but the Danes can't understand the other two. Danes have to switch to English to understand Swedes.

  • Her dad is teaching her Skånsk. Not learning her Skånsk.

  • To make it clear: The girl is speaking swedish like her dad. Her dad is /learning? her a dialect(Skånska) that swedish people usual speak in south Sweden.

  • bra jobb!

  • Skånska är inte svenska. Det är en halssjukdom
