  • body is by "fresh cherries" it was sold at wallmart and they do have a pacer. body was removed a placed on another rc frame

  • Very astute! I actually never even drove the Gremlin in stock form. This is completely custom built on a Double-J products chassis. I wanted to replicate what a '74 Gremlin X would look like on 2 1/2 ton Rockwells, with 48" tires.

And if I ever find a suitable Gremlin body, I'm gonna build the real deal!

  • cool body. Cost? Size? Were can i get one?

  • This was completely custom built by me on an after market chassis, using HPI Wheely King Axles and transmission.

Cost... More than you wanna know! I've done a lot to it since this video was taken. I've got over $800 in it right now.

  • That thing is sooo kick ass man.How hard was it to adapt the Gremlin shell to the R/C frame? I wanna do that with my own R/C Gremlin.I had a 73 Gremlin shell that I was gonna bolt on a jeep frame but i ran outta money and junked it :(

  • Actually, not that hard. It was getting the trans and axles to work with the chassis that was the trickiest part. I'm still perfecting the four-link and shock angles. I've also gone through four different sets of shocks trying to find ones that work the best.

  • cool

  • I believe this might be the only thing that beats my current Axial motorhome project on the awesomness scale. Awesome idea, and even awesomer outcome!

  • WOW!! I don't even have that much into my car right now!! My car, right now, has cost me (including the price) is $450

  • Both of 'em. I primarily use this for Rock crawling/trail riding and mudding. So the locked diffs are essential. I wish someone would make a scale "air locker" for the front diff, though.

  • where do you get body? do they do pacer body?
