  • @xBARNES187x Garlic contains allacin which is a natural antibacterial agent. If you crush a garlic clove and rub it in to the worst offending spot, you will be pleased with the result. Try it

  • This may have worked for a couple of reasons. These are just theories...

In qi gong and other arts that use "chi", when you focus your consciousness on something(i.e. an area of the body), you bring chi there. Chi attracts more chi to it and chi can be healing.

The second component is the meditation on love. My understanding is that in some ways chi, or whatever you call universal energy, is essentially neutral, but it can be charged with your intention, such as love.

  • hello

  • I'll try this one with my toes and ankle. Sounds like fun as well as a possible help.

  • interesting video~thanx 4 sharing this info with us and I will give it a go!

  • i extend the (very polictly correct hehe) blessing to you as well friend

  • Just don't depend on the rituals too heavily. That's when you have people thinking they cured their cancer by thinking about it really hard.

  • Personally, I doubt "spiritual" forces exist, but I will agree that meditation, use of some sort of ritual, and even the beliefs you hold can have beneficial psychosomatic effects. This is one of the reasons why, as an atheist, I still use ritual and meditation to reinforce beneficial beliefs. It is quite useful. If you're depressed and say you have an important meeting, do a little ritual to reinforce a positive attitude. It helps. If placebos work, can't see why you couldn't use it for health.

  • yes. meditation is indeed a good thing to do.
