I love this song. My mom used to play it will all of her other disco hits on saturday while she cleaned the house when I was a youngster. Good music.

On this day in 1979 {January 13th} Peaches and Herb performed "Reunited" on the late Dick Clark's 'American Bandstand'

Three months later on March 17th it entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; and on May 5th it peaked at #1 {for 4 weeks} and spent 23 weeks on the Top 100

And on April 28th it also reached #1 {for 3 weeks} on Billboard's Hot Soul Singles chart

Also in 1979 it was covered by Louise Mandrell & R.C. Bannon; their version peaked at #13 on Billboard's Hot Country Singles chart

I was definitely born 14 years after this songs release...but by listening to this you can really feel and tell their lyrics are true and honest from the heart. It's so great the emotion they put into music back then.
