A delightful song from two accomplished musicians. Eric Tingstad plays guitar and Nancy Rumbel the woodwind artist on the album "Star of Wonder" which was released in 1994. The interplay between the instruments is perfection and the new insights they show on the traditional standards make this an exciting album to listen to. It is still as fresh and new sounding as when they recorded it. I can listen to this "The Holly and The Ivy" as many times as I care to hit the rerun button. Enjoy!

I love it !
A funny thing. I use to to some shopping at a place called Tingstad. Its a commercial center.
If I translate what the name Tingstad means in swedish so : ting = thing and stad = town !!!
