  • It is hard to tellhow flat a stone is from a video. I don't remember if I flattened the stone that morning. I was more interested in getting the camera angles straight etc. However I don notmally flatten my stones throughout the day and often between every shear sharpened when I want to do my very best work.

  • This machine sharpens the 800 mm radius, the 500 mm radius and the 1000 mm radius. Shears have a variety of radii depending on the purpose of the manufacturer. A machine that sharpens only a 800 mm radius will incorrectly sharpen all the other shears.
