1. The argument about Japanese companies build their vehicles here, is ignorant the design and parts are mostly built elsewhere and more importantly they build at none union shops that pay half or less than the sporadic brands pay on domestic brand pay for labour. 2. The revenues go back to Japan, so don't use the argument that my money spent on foreign brand do as much good as if I bought domestic.

3. Great thing about America is it's a free country, and buy whatever you please.

@ltr450k7suzuk not everyone has money for a car though. i'm satisfied with the used stuff i have but affordable stuff you can buy every week is what we need to focus on. Which is what we have done. things like groceries mostly come from our homeland. Paper to, so do some clothes.

@ltr450k7suzuk During his life, Henry Ford found ways to make cars affordable, and the company survived a horrible recession, I believe, due to Ford's ingenuity. If american companies want to stay afloat or beat foreign companies, they just need to figure out ways to make better and more affordable cars. As long as their competitors make better products, well, economy will just keep doing its thing. If the country goes "belly up", I would blame it on the credit system more than buying foreign.
