Bruce is teaching the lesson of accepting your own mortality. In some situations, survival is not viable. When you accept your own mortality and are willing to die, you become far more lethal, as you are willing to take risks and make sacrifices your opponent is not. ....Maybe it's just that I do BJJ, and therefore am jaded to believe biting could solve this problem so easily, but how exactly do you bite something that's directly under your chin?
