This is the first in a series of "Responses to Pro-abortion politicians." In this spot, Fr. Frank answers the argument, "I have to represent all the people."
Our response: That's what we're trying to say to you. If you neglect the unborn, you are not representing all the people. Roe vs. Wade excludes them from protection; we demand that they be included. A public servant cannot legitimately ignore an entire segment of the public that is being destroyed.

  • The only reason why over religious groups are against abortion is because it disrupts the flow of thier unproven philosophies. They want to have more kids, to raise them to be obedient followers to keep thier beliefs alive and well. They don't really care about the fetus. As long as thier religion is kept in circulation, they really don't care about any child. Same goes for homosexuality.

  • @helllspell No, you got it completely wrong. Fetus is a developmental term, the same way infant, toddler, or child is. I don't know about your demeaning human stuff, but the fact is a fetus is human. I'm not saying this in anyway to oppose abortion, I am pro-choice, as I said, but it's just science buddy.

  • @humanistheart not the case, age doesn't legally start until after birth. but by this logic we could do the same thing with a zygote, a sperm, a chain of protein, an atom of carbon, we could call every ounce of mass a human simply because it can potentially be one. But isn't that silly doesn't it demean what it is to be human?

This is why I think apart from a sentient mind, there is nothing useful to call human.

  • I'm a Catholic and a sponsor member of Planned Parenthood. Abortion can actually save lives. If Babs Bush had aborted Dubya, then the lives of a million innocent Iraqis would have been spared. Better yet, if Flora Sheldon Bush had aborted Prescott Bush, Dubya's grandfather, then Prescott couldn't have helped I G Farben build the Nazi gas chambers by financing the construction through a Swiss shell company and the Holocaust could have been avoided.

  • but what about the mother? does she not have a say in this? i think the life of a mother is more important than the life of a pack of a few cells

  • @helllspell The term fetus is specific to age/development. To suggest that a fetus isn't a human because we call it a fetus is like suggesting a child is not human because we call it a child, or a teenager, or a senior citizen.

I'm pro-choice by the way, so don't think I'm correcting you because I appose your stance on abortion, I just dislike fraudulent claims.

  • The majority of americans are pro-choice. They have proven it with their votes over and over.

  • Respond to this vide

My problem with Fr. Pavone is he is basically a shill for the Republican Party-in other words, the RIGHT wing of the War Party-of which Obama is President of the LEFT wing.

  • @Guitarvirtuoso666 the question is: was there ever a war the US participated in they were NOT in favor of? Most even give the (rightfully) reviled Bill Clinton and Barak Obama a pass-and Clinton was the first President since 1945 to conduct war in Europe with the terror bombing in Kosovo in 1999.

  • @RPenta

because only in America you can be pro nuclear weapons, pro the war in iraq, pro torture, and still call yourself pro-life
