And now for something completely different, as they used to say in the Monty Python-shows.
Jean Sibelius (1865-1957) is one of the greatest Finnish icons, our most well known classical composer in the world. "Kuusi" ("Fir tree") Op.75/5 is my favorite from Jeans productions. In this recording "Kuusi" is played by Eero Heinonen.
Pictures in the slideshow are paintings from Finnish artist's from the so called "golder era" in Finnish art.

This tree is the king in the forest. So is this piece in this "forestry" suite. So easy in the key tones, and after that, it opens the imagination ...
