Hello Friend. Fong Vue is the orginal Hmong singer. However, he did got the melody from a chinese song. From that perspective it's not original. what he did was he switched the intro from a guitar (chinese version) to a piano (his version). Hope this helps. I think this song came out about 1984 or something like that. Hope this helps.
