Matting a swamp on a pipeline

how are the controls on the deere? capared to the cat.

The boom and stick controls are opposite. The swing and bucket are the same. But this machine is set up with cat controls. The newer machines can be changed from the in the cab, Cat to JD and back.

I said the same thing.Kamatsu makes one that sits on a turn table like a hoe, drive in, spin 360, dump, drive out, simple. But it wasn't that bad, I've had a lot worse jobs than that!

Get a bigger hoe and can carry a lot more than that. We've tracked 15 at a time in with a Cat 330 but it's a lot easier to carry 15 with a 345, and I mean fresh ones not those rotted out ones there.

Dude i feell for you having to do all that tracking for 4 mats at a time... Why can't your contractor get you a tracked dumper, load the thing up with mats?

You'd still have to track but at least you get say 8 - 10 mats on the dumper.

But i guess it keeps you in work doing it the longer way.

one thing i'd defintely do is cut the wire on the tracking alarm, that would really get me irritated hearing it beep beep beep all the time i track lol.
