@quincyhughes Fremantle tried to...but they didn't follow the axiom of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
-
SIT DOWN, CURTIS!
-
Just for the record, in the old days, they played the final three questions regardless of how large a player's lead was (videoarchives1000 has an episode which is proof of that)...normally.
-
Boy, he got like a standing ovation when David won $109,000 cause it took 2 months to hit.
-
I heard nobody lost the $50,000 bonus in the WB
-
Wow, if daytime went on to win the lot plus, I think $110,000 in cash that would've broke the ALL TIME daytime winnings record.
-
LMAO! Jim at 6:26! Funny as hell!
-
Anyone notice that John Goss, Helaine Lowey, and Alice Conkright are missing from this montage?
-
Jim started to get loud in the early years when he fired the questions in the speed round.
-
@antoniosoul I call the speed round the final Minute to Win It because it lasts 60 seconds.

ok i've seen many episodes of this show and know the rules pretty well but i have 1 ? if the champion is in the lead but does not have the required amount to win the game...what happens?

Wow, $109,000 remains the biggest single cash amount in all daytime network game shows.

yeah its a shame that the US version of "Price is Right" doesn't do the monster showcase like the Aussie version of "Price is Right" does. That would rock!
