Interview and live footage from 2006 at The Jazz Bakery in Los Angeles, featuring drummer Jason Smith, pianist Gary Husband, and bassist Dave Carpenter playing originals, and works by John McLaughlin, Keith Jarrett, Kenny Wheeler, Denny Zeitlin, and others.
Gary is one of modern jazz's most accomplished drummers and keyboard players -- he toured with both John McLaughlin and Billy Cobham as a keyboardist -- while also playing drums occasionally in live sets. He recorded as a keyboardist with John McLaughlin, Allan Holdsworth, Jason Smith, and as a solo artist -- in addition to being one of the most respected electric jazz drumming powerhouses on the scene. He was the drummer in Level 42 - one of main pop credits to date.
