@tattooskin72 Only a little. I really don't mind, it just takes a lot of time out of the day. He will probably be getting his car this year so that will make it WAY easier. Except for the stress of having a teenager with a car!

@AnneOnAMoose LOL! Zach is 17. I would, but he is in school during the day and band trips and football practice in the evenings. He has his hands full. I get work out of him on the weekends though.
Plan to pollinate all your fruits and veggies by hand, if you enclose them in a screen. Typically that is done for you by the bees, wasps, butterflies, etc. But if you block them out, you'll have no fruit/veggies otherwise. Good luck!

@southern151redneck LOL! No, I'm not going that far. I'm just going to use poultry fencing to enclose it. Small enough to keep out the raccoons and larger critters but large enough to let in the bees and bugs. And thanks!

Very cool! I dreamed of such an enclosure for my boxes..you've made it a reality. Will be fun to watch everything grow!

i think the fresh vegetables are a great idea but maybe you should put some daisy's or other aesthetic flowers in the garden for looks (: and is it gonna be enclosed by glass since you have a door frame ?

Actually, I will be planting wild flowers in parts of the rest of the yard to attract the bees. And no, not glass. LOL! Poultry fencing to keep the critters out so they don't eat my veggies!
