By any standard, across any country, religion, belief or ethic this is an atrocity to the men and women who dutifully represent the country as it's "few and proud."

One cannot excuse the fact that this is wrong but cannot look past his blatant disregard of life as written in his Bebo Blog-

No, no one expects you to carry it or anything. But no one also expects you to toss a stray puppy off a cliff. Just leave it be and let God have it's way with the animal.

You are a monster and you are unjust. After you're done defending this country you'll be forced to defend yourself from the millions of people who've watched that fateful video and are just as disturbed by it as I am.

If he really didn't want to carry the sick dog back to camp, or if he didn't do it because of the "rules" ...there are less cruel ways to deal with it! Even quickly putting it out of it's misery (if it was so sick it was already dying), but that toss was just for kicks... sick bastard!!!

Why is everyone making such a big deal over a puppy compared to what happens in Iraq? I'm not saying this is good, but this just makes no sense. This just shows how retarded and bias people are.

Also, I agree with how throwing the puppy off a cliff was terrible, but I'm sure most of you all will still respond to such hostility if it was shot. The puppy was sick, and marine's can't take it to their shelter. Even if he did, it'd of been too late. You prefer a slow and painful death?
