you mentioned a real problem here,the tests are unreliable and therefore you need a doctor who is familiar with LD and knows how to treat it well. The problem is that conventional treatment of chronic LD is expensive and bound to shortsighted outdated medical/political aspects. Like you, i am hoping for a dramatic turn in the LD perception since it is becoming pandemic.

Yes! My son goes to doctor Jones in CT. My daughter has appt. with him in Jan. Because no one here belives they have it. I can not get treated here either but, I will start doxy next to start treating my self. Then try to get someone to listen and get tested but, I know the test are not always right. This has started destroying our life like is does millons of others. Please go to Lymeornot and read her theorys. Alot of the same things are happening to us.I am a single parent.

does it move slowly to the brain? Or does it attack other parts of our body? Does it affect childrens brains faster than adults?My son got lyme in Florida. My daughter is infected also snce birth and bitten last april and her symtons are getting worse. I belive I have it too since I was a child. I also belive that I passed this to my children.
