Thought about doing this with an electric, but the acoustic take has its own charms, I'll let it lie. Edit - Someone told me a half year after putting this video up that Elvis Costello used a Gibson Century of Progress for the original tune, so it made sense that I gravitated towards playing it with this kind of guitar.
what's the strumming pattern? I keep watching but I can't get it right.

@DethMetalHippie21 for a four beat measure, it's a down stroke for the first three quarter notes, but the last beat do two eighth notes with a quick down-up. So it's like "Down Down DOWN down-up" and repeat that throughout, unless you intentionally break out to mess it up here and there for emphasis.

What is the chord you are playing on 6th fret? I initially thought an Em and then realized you are on 6

how do you play the solo?

the break is Em, G, C, B7 again, but during that whole time keep your pinkie on the B string 3 frets up (what is that, an E?) and at the very end which is the B7 chord bend that B string with your pinkie up. End with that big strum on the Em. That's it!
