THE GREY MARKET: A TEMPORARY SHOPPING EMPORIUM offers residents of Central Iowa a chance to shop in an environment that promotes local culture and offers the opportunity to purchase unique apparel, accessories, and other goods. It's awesome!

THE GREY MARKET: A TEMPORARY SHOPPING EMPORIUM was be held on the weekend of Friday, June 16th through Sunday, June 18th, 2006. It was housed in a fantastic warehouse in downtown Des Moines - at 500 E Locust in Des Moines' fabulous East Village. TGM was open to the public on both Saturday and Sunday, and was kicked off by a VIP fundraising shopping event (complete with a fashion show, drinks and hors d'oeuvres, a live DJ, and more!) on Friday evening. This event was a fundraiser for THE DES MOINES ART CENTER.
