This is an original song of mine entitled, "Oriental Eyes". This is a second, better version of the song. The lyrics are posted below. Thanks!!!
ORIENTAL EYES
Your hair of ebony is made of silk,
And flowing free.
Your porcelain skin is,
Soft to the touch and shines softly.
And your robes of silk remind me,
Of the Eastern Sky.
Sitting calmly as the emerald field,
Reflects your eyes.
Your eyes are almond,
Looking innocent with endless pride.
You're so beautiful,
Like silken robes and fans tonight.
On the balcony beneath the stars,
You are mine.
You look like a China Doll,
With gorgeous Oriental Eyes.
(Instrumental Interlude)
And your robes of silk remind me,
Of the Eastern Sky.
Sitting calmly as the emerald field,
Reflects your eyes.
Your eyes are almond,
Looking innocent with all your pride.
And you're so beautiful,
Like silken robes and fans tonight.
On the balcony beneath the stars,
You are mine.
You look like a China Doll,
With gorgeous Oriental Eyes.

A very nuanced performance. Your song captures a very Asian ideal of irony. Subtlety is weightier than boldness. (In fact, silence screams.) When you speak of the emerald field under an eastern sky... those two images that are only briefly described (adj. noun, ON adj. noun)... combine together and unlock an entire landscape... indeed, it takes me right to where you're describing.. THEN... you conflate this image with the person you're describing.. too beautiful to behold.
