Reward for Info on Shot Maltese

KHON2 news story about Maltese dog that was shot and killed. Hawaiian Humane Society is offering a reward of $2,500 for leads that result in an arrest and conviction.

I'm pretty sure the dogs owner shot the dog. He/she probably didn't want the dog anymore and just shot it. I mean he/she should know the dog is missing, none the less that it's on the news. I don't know if they found the shooter yet, but how sad is this story. That is so evil!
