SM64 Part 40
Well thanks for making it all the way through this let's play. I hope you found my mario experience interesting. To reward you here's the link to the SM64 game completion in under 16 min.

It took me a little while to understand what a tool assisted speed run actually meant so let me explain for others who might not be aware. The goal for a TAS player is to exploit every known glitch and find the absolute fastest method to progressing to the end of a level etc. Now typically they will alter the gameplay, i.e. use slowdowns (lower frame rates) and savestates (saved checkpoints) and then rerecord into normal speed. So the end result is in essence perfected gameplay for that particular game; it would be nearly impossible for a single live run to duplicate a TAS video, due to inconsistent variables i.e. human error, timing, character spawns etc.
See ya for the next let's play adventure.

I think I shed some tears after beating FFIX for the first time. I definitely cried after watching Clannad the Movie, I'm not embarrassed to mention that.
