    I've been hearing a lot about chia seeds. What's the deal with these? Pros and cons? I do drink a lot of water and hear the chia seeds help you absorb & use water better. Love to know what you know about this.

    I agree with Jillian about the quality of food being the issue! I myself do best on a gluten free meal plan. I would swap out with 1/2 cup of cooked quinoa, 1/2 cup of black beans or a small potato for the piece of wheat bread...I have a gluten free menu plan that does NOT include fake gluten free products. I lost over 100 pounds eating this way and STOPPED dieting!

    Chia seeds have many pro's such as being a complete gluten-free protein, dietry fibre, antioxidant (more than blueberries), etc.. They help keep you fuller for longer as well. As far as I'm aware, in terms of the cons, they may cause upset your digestive system at first if your body is not used to a lot of fiber. However, everyone is different, so foods will affect people in different ways. So it's always best to just research and experiment with yourself. :)

    Gillian .. please help Im exercising between 45mins to 2 hours most days eg spinning ext and counting having around 1100 to 1200 cals most days, I also prefer fresh healthy foods, but after 25 days on the diet I havent lost weight.. im 5.4 178lb but have a fair amount of muscle, I loath to take my calories lower what should I try next ..?
