Hi and welcome back to the 3ds Max series for beginners. In part 14 I go over the rendering process in 3ds Max.

Rendering is an essential part of 3D work...it really is the final stage to the project. In this video I take my time to go over the various rendering scenarios you may run into...also some techniques you may want to know so you can speed up the rendering process for sampling/test purposes.

I also go over a new renderer...called mental ray...and how it works with the lighting I will show you in the next and last video.

  • hey jerry when you were saying about having a single frame take a couple of minutes my mate at college had to render out his entire project which lasts about 20 seconds and it took over 700 hours

  • @BuckleDesign I totally believe it! On the Pixar website they give some crazy info about their films... each frame taking about 6 hours to render...and some taking up to 90 hours to render!

  • very long, but i learned all the stuff about rendering my models, tnx bro!

  • This is yantram providing all types of 3D Modeling animation services like 3D Floor Plan,Architectural Visualization,3D Interior Design,3D Jewelry Design,3d rendering companies, 3d Animation studio.

  • can you tell me how to create stereo cameras view, you know, like in movies, that goes from first to second view ?????????

  • @ladygagafan697 The best way is to render all the frames in one camera, then the other and then edit the two camera angles together in like Windows Movie Maker or something basic like that.

  • How do you change the camera angles and add different cameras to get different views while making the animation. I added 2 cameras but the animation only shows the view from one camera. please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I started with 3DS Max at a work experience placement, luckily I went to an animation studio, and got the simple gist of the program. But that was over a year ago and your series has helped me a ton to remind me of the functions and teach me some new things too!

    Thanks!

  • @programsarena The fuck is your problem? This is for people interested in 3ds max and if you are not interested then don't watch it.
