Alka-Seltzer '10 Ad: CGI or Stop Motion?

Flipping through the cable channels, I saw this ad. There is a little character called 'Speedy'. Originally, the Speedy puppet was in TV commercials from way back starting in the early 1950s. The puppet was animated using stop motion replacement animation techniques (for the face). Speedy made various comebacks throughout the past years. This is the 2010 version.

Okay .... the CGI or Stop Motion mystery coming to a QUICK anti-climatic conclusion. This is pure CGI synthetic artificial fake puppet. Not Stop Motion. I did further digging and found out, a New York 100% CGI Studio did this. You can go to their website .... 'Framestore dot kom' and at bottom of page click 'view' > 'commercials in New York'

@GuitarPlaya2000 Actually it's probably more expensive to do the CGI, but the reason they pay more for it is so that when Speedy jumps up, the computer fills in the action blurs and creates a more natural motion compared to the "King Kong" style. Stop Motion is not expensive, thousands of people have posted videos that they did in their own homes.

Oh my gosh! It is Zatch's voice. That was bothering me so much and couldn't figure out what show I had heard his voice from when I saw this commercial.
