The organisers put on an hourly firework display in Leicester Square.
This was the 6PM and last display of the day.

    Never stood so close to a firework display before!

  • Chinese New Year is celebrated by the Chinese people all over the world, even more so in major cities. The culturally-curious British people means that the event in London have mushroomed in recent years.

    Some people may have found this year a bit disappointing though, because the stupid police wouldn't allow lion dancing (the main attraction!) into the narrow streets of Chinatown itself, fearing overcrowding.
