Josh of Vernian Process - Zelda: A Link to the Past (Orchestrated Ending Themes)

This is my fully orchestrated cover of the Ending and Credits theme to the classic SNES game "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past". This is my favorite game in the Zelda series.

I recall the first time I heard this music in 1992 when I was about 14 years old, I got chills. That was the first time I ever had that experience from a video game.

I spent approximately 6 months working on this till I thought it sounded just right. This piece is very special to me, and I hope my treatment of it does the genius of Koji Kondo justice.

These tracks were both arranged from midi compositions I found online. I take no credit for their compositions, only for the treatment of the instruments and arrangements.

When the Zelda theme started to play at 5:35 I just sat back in my chair and closed my eyes to listen. You did an incredible job through the entire video. This has always been my favorite composition in the Zelda series too. I can't not share this with other people.

I first played this game when I was about 6, back on the snes. when I heard this music and saw the credits roll....I felt pretty damn amazed and accomplished

Friend linked my here less than 30minutes ago during a Steam conversation. This is a gem of video-game music, and I've never played this game, but from seeing the credit scenes + music go by, I can already tell this must've been a winner of an experience for many people. I fully agree. I played this game with a friend over a summer back then and this music was the first time I had experienced something so beautiful from game. My emotional attachment to the Zelda series also helped.
