Join me on a visit to a small local Summer festival. In summer in certain neighborhoods there are pockets of little local festivals everywhere. They happen throughout the summer at different times depending on your area. Fun times for kids and the family. Some are huge events with parades and others can be just a few food stands on the corner. Usually the larger ones are centered around a local temple and may have a hanabi (fireworks) celebration as well. This one was small and chill just how I like it.

  • @thorstyboy Nice! go and have fun!

  • If you had worn a yukata and a pair of geta, I would've given this video a thumbs-up. C'mon, get with the program, dude!

  • @TiramisuHappy I have one! O.k. I will next time! A little shy but I will.

  • @toddatron

Dude, where do you live? Where DO YOU LIVE???

    You live in JAPAN!!!

You're SUPPOSED TO wear a yukata to your local "natsu matsuri."

    Do NOT disappoint me again!

  • @TiramisuHappy Let me know when you are coming to Tokyo. We should hangout here at my place in yukata oyaji style!

  • One of the things I miss most about Japan is the street festivals. Street food and beer. Plus you get plenty of exercise walking around, which means more street food and beer of course...

  • nice footage ^^

  • 2:30 what is that food?

BTW you making me want to drink at 4am damn you! lol

    Love the outtro!

  • @toddatron

Haha, yukata OYAJI. Speak for yourself, dude. I'm not THAT old, yet! (Well actually, I AM middle-aged now technically speaking.) Thanks for the invite. I'll take you up on it! Actually, if you could take me to Matsumoto, that would be wonderful!! Saitama just sucks! ; P
