The Art of Autobiography: Redux

This experimental video treatise is based on the documentary directed by Dana Inkster, The Art of Autobiography (2003). This documentary explored the adult experience of being adopted and the degree to which we are the authors of our selves and that this is especially true for those adults with no direct link to immediate lineage. Redux I, the first installment of a video series, delves more deeply into the nuanced truths that could not be conveyed by the artist within the traditional form of documentary. It is a about the perils and epiphany of figurative and literal reflection.

The ifpod project is an experiment in polymorphous dissemination aimed at infiltrating the mobile YOUniverse with a unique collection of ten Canadian video art works - on the down load for any and every possible screen.
