Risen: Beautiful Sceneries

Not many people appreciate Risen's graphics because it's not "modern-looking" for a game that was released in 2009. For me it still looks damn great. Its world looks so pleasant and colorful. Like the other RPGs such as Fable and Dragon Age, it gave me that feeling of being absorbed in a fantasy world again

I wanted to show others that Risen is not as bad as others think it is. Yeah it somehow leaves a bad first impression because it was difficult in the beginning but I easily got addicted to it once I learned how to play

and this is on the PC not the Xbox360

I feel the same way about Two Worlds. People trash the graphics in that game but there are some beautiful moments and that game was 2007.

I'll be getting this game for my wife and I. I was looking for a video just like this one to make sure it was a beautiful game before I bought it.

@R4live You didn't understand the game. The fight system is awesome. Better than most popular RPG except gothic 1 and 2. You have to use tactics and know the enemies moves. If you don't use tactics you are dead in five seconds. Excellent game

This game amazed me at first look. It was my first actual RPG I played, and since then I played a lot of them ... the only one I can barley compare to Risen was Divinity II (because of great story and it's kind a relaxing).

I love fighting system in Risen, because it's more realistic ... It's not just "left mouse click - click - click - kill - heal - click click click) ... It's a bit hard at beginning, but after a while you realize : you're in it. Can't wait for Risen 2 !

I loved this game, the 2 different factions and the ways to join them both, the world, it all made me feel like I'm in an actual world. The locations, the characters, the enemies - it was so awesome. I didn't like the final chapter against the lizardmen, thought it was kinda... meh.

Other then that - this game is worth getting. I kinda liked Gothic 3 (although it was so buggy, and I just LOL'd at the cheesy voice acting, still - Pirahna Bytes really outdid themselves with this game.

Beautiful sceneries..what else? totally disappointed. Play for two hours and just "trash it". The fight system is crap, the moviment is crap. I prefer Dragon Age (if the comparation is possible).

god I was so disappointed with this game. I dont care about graphics but sadly that is what made me buy this game. It was actual the game play that made me hate this, the fighting was boring to me and the movement just felt like old pc game I played in 98. I wish they just was more fluid.
